Training & CPD for Education Settings

I offer a range of in-person CPD sessions for early years, primary, specialist and wider education teams. All sessions can be delivered as twilight training (60–90 minutes) or longer half-day workshops with opportunities for discussion, reflection and practical application.
Each topic is grounded in neuro-affirming, relationship-based practice, with a focus on connection, confidence and real-world strategies you can use straight away.
Available CPD Sessions
Foundations First – Including Children With Complex Needs in Mainstream Settings
A supportive, strategy-rich session for educators wanting to strengthen participation, communication and meaningful inclusion.
Small Children, Big Feelings – Emotional Regulation for Young Learners
Understanding regulation in young children and exploring co-regulation strategies that help them feel safe, connected and ready to learn.
Big Kids, Big Feelings – Regulation Fundamentals for Older Learners
An adapted version of the above, designed for KS2–secondary staff or for older children working at an earlier developmental stage.
Are They Dry? – Toilet Learning for SEN
A practical, myth-busting session on supporting children with additional needs through the toilet learning process respectfully and developmentally.
Empathy Builds School Access (EBSA)
A gentle, reflective introduction to supporting emotionally based school avoidance through relationship and emotional safety.
Not Just Repetition – Understanding Gestalt Language Processing for Educators
An educator-focused introduction to GLP: why echolalia is meaningful, how to recognise the language stages, and how to support phrase-based communication in learning and play.
Digital CPD Library
If your team prefers flexible, self-paced training, I also offer a small collection of digital CPD videos, each available to rent for £15 for 3 days.
These 60–90 minute sessions offer clear overviews of key topics and can act as tasters ahead of in-person training.
