Drawing on over 15 years of extensive experience as a teacher in both mainstream and specialist environments, and as a Specialist Teacher supporting nurseries and schools, I offer an informed and practical approach to inclusive education. My academic background includes a BA Hons in Primary Education (Early Years and Key Stage 1 focus) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Autism in Children, providing a solid foundation for my work with diverse learners. I am committed to evidence-based strategies and hold specialist training in areas such as Attention Autism, Intensive Interaction, SCERTS, and the Curiosity Approach. Further professional development includes PROACT SCIPr, SPELL, TEACCH, Makaton, and advanced techniques in emotional regulation, social communication (including Social Stories), PDA-informed practice, Gestalt Language Processing, and Sensory Processing and Interoception. I continually update my knowledge through national events like the TES SEND Conference, ensuring I bring the most current and effective skillset to every setting.
